"NEST New York Something Tropical Votive Candle smells so amazing for such a little candle the aroma fills the room and the smell isn’t overwhelming . Put mine under a candle warmer ( only because I have kids ) but from what I’ve seen the wick didn’t look like it needed to be trimmed before lighting it and there was no ashes. All in all this is a great candle."

"Being a huge fan of NEST candles, I knew I had to try this new release the moment it appeared on the site. I ordered it just in time for Valentine’s Day, and it perfectly captured the light, playful, and flirty mood of the holiday. The name is a great fit for this candle since the scent feels abstractly fruity and tropical in the best way. While I do pick up the passion fruit, mango, and hibiscus note mentioned in the fragrance description, they are not particularly prominent. To me, the aroma is closer to a multi-fruit juice or a non-alcoholic tropical mocktail with muddled fruit pulp. It is sweet without being cloying, remaining bright, cheerful, and very charming throughout. I would absolutely love a body wash or lotion in this exact scent. The throw is impressively strong both when the candle is cold and when it is lit. Even though this one hasn’t made it into my top three favorite NEST candles, I enjoyed it enough that I will definitely repurchase it in the future."

"This is such a nice tropical scent! To me it smells mostly mango which I like. This is a great size for a small room like a bathroom or a small entryway. It burns nicely and I could see these as really great gifts for a gift basket or just a little treat yourself candle! I love the packaging."

"This candle may be small but it has a big, strong scent. The tropical scent is a little stronger than I was expecting. I like the size of the candle. It’s cute and can fit easily into our decor. When burning I do not like the scent as much as I do when it just sitting on the shelf. This is not q scent that I would have purchased. It’s ok but I prefer scents like cinnamon, Christmas tree and pumpkin better than such fruity scents."

"This kennel definitely smells like something tropical I absolutely love it and I feel like it fits perfect in my bathroom. It’s such a great size and the scent is not overpowering, but it’s definitely very strong. You get a lot for your money and I feel like this candle will last a while too."
