Very Rose-Forward
"I was hoping for a little more of the oud/leather scent that's in the product description. This very much smells like a rose candle, which isn't my favorite; I thought it might be more balanced. That said, it definitely has grown on me! I'm not sure I'd repurchase as there are a few other warm Nest scents I prefer (Moroccan Amber, Plum Autumn) but this is lovely in its way. It also burns wonderfully and is very scented! Overall it feels like a great balance of luxury and value, especially if you're fond of rich rose scents."
Shipping issues - damaged
"Well since they asked for my review, I can’t really give one. My entire order of 7 candles was destroyed during shipping. So I can’t say I’m enjoying my candles. I love Nest and they have my favorite candles. However, whether it was due to company error in preshipping, or due to handler care, pretty much every candle was melted upon arrival. Which means they might need to adjust their shipping techniques to perhaps encase them in insulated boxes during summer. Until then, I will await replacements as well as hopefully a discount for the trouble. 2 stars for the scent because I love it."
